Dandelions Magic Wishes

Limited Palette, only two colors Blue Ultramarine and Grey Payne.

I loved to paint this Dandelions with such a limited palette of two colors, it is very challenging but I really love the result and the lightness that I was able to give to my painting. I usually paint with a very limited palette of no more than five/six colors I like to mix them and create my own.
The goal of working with a limited palette is to improve skills, gain more control and faster paintings I suggest everyone to give it a try. Also I did the drawing straight with the ink pen no pencil.

Details about my watercolors:
watercolors are outlined with black ink pens. I used  French Artists Watercolors  Sennelier  l’Aguarelle 12 demi-godets half-pans travel metal box  Ink pens used a black ink  Pilot Prera fountain pen fine nib . I painted on a  8 x 11 inches mixed media sketchbook.

All my watercolors paintings are available for Pre-Order in Limited Edition Art Prints

  10. Since these grow in my yard, I could not help but look. I wish they were as deep a blue as you created them. Laments of a southern yard mower. 🙂
