Today in USA is “Thanksgiving Day” I wish a wonderful day to everyone!
And on November watercolor prompt list today is “TURKEY” I am joining Charlie at doodlewash for November Adventure!
I loved to paint my turkey here with all his Royalty and colors in all his beauty and “Alive” 🙂 I titled my post as “One Happy Turkey” and he is in between the flowers, sunflower and cranberries, bringing a message of happiness, joy and life to all and sharing this Thanksgiving Day with us out of a plate! I personally won’t eat a turkey today or any meat, there are beautiful and plenty of other wonderful dishes that I will eat to celebrate this day! But this is just me! ❤ I wish everyone a wonderful and great Thanksgiving Day and I am sending love to all!
Today following November watercolor prompt list is “CRANBERRIES” I am joining whenever I can doodlewash for November Adventure!
Today is also celebrated as “Cranberry Relish Day” I didn’t really know about this one until now! No much time to write today but I managed to paint my Cranberries! ❤
Today following November watercolor prompt list is “MUSHROOMS” I am joining whenever I can doodlewash for November Adventure!
I was very happy to paint this one, because I love mushrooms not just to look at their colors and beautiful shapes, there are so many kinds I love to look at some wonderful botanical illustrations. Mushrooms are a very beautiful subject for nature inspired watercolor paintings. My painting has the colors of the Fall Season. I directly painted with the watercolors without previously tracing with pencil, I just painted the shapes straight on the paper. I combined the mushrooms with leaves and acorns. I loved the after washes ink drawing, like in a second layer I created the leaves and the acorns.
Editable mushrooms also are filled with lots of nutrients and are a great source of vitamins and minerals very good for our health in a daily diet. I eat them a lot and mostly raw in a variety of salads and also I love to eat the big Portobello Mushrooms. I used to cook them in many delicious ways, but right now that I follow a raw vegetarian-vegan diet, the big Portobello ones are amazing raw topped with some avocados, chopped tomatoes, hummus and more there are lots of tasty options for a wonderful Mushroom sandwich! ❤

Today according to Charlie prompt list is “BEETS” I am joining in at doodlewash for this day of November Adventure!
I like beets they have many health benefits? They are delicious and very pigmented their intense color is beautiful. It was nice to paint this today. I did it first thing in the morning to make sure I could grab the time to paint.
November Supermoon 2nd night photos with the Full Moon!
Yesterday night I had a second attempt to photograph the beautiful “Supermoon” yesterday was also the day of the “Full Moon”. Once again here in California the sky was beautiful and clear I am so glad. I have been lucky this month. Last October I remember that when we had full moon the sky was full of clouds, covering the moon and not a chance to take any photos. Yesterday and the night before photos turned out pretty well. I am really happy! There is a pretty good sharpness and definition on these photos, you can see the details and pretty much all the lunar craters. This moon shot was taken outside home around 6pm last night. I am amazed because I didn’t used a tripod! For whom interested I used my camera Nikon D3300 and a Telephoto zoom lens 70-300mm I don’t remember the settings because I did change several while shooting. The first photo in this post is barely edited, I only cropped to have a close up I see that there is a purple reflection on the top I don’t know what caused that maybe because I was holding the camera. Overall I am happy with it!
I also attempted with some help to get an artistic photo with me holding the moon in my hand! ❤ I guess turned out great! I just had to edit this one a little to make sure that my profile is visible, because the photo was taken without flash in complete darkness, only with the moonlight that was very bright. This is an iPhone 6 photo and was taken yesterday on a nighttime hiking walk, I went to walk right after I took the moon shots.
I know that in several parts of the world this full moon wasn’t visible, cause clouds and weather. I am happy that I was able to witness and share this moment with you through my photography!
Tonight I went for a nocturne hike!
I went in a whim without plan anything. I carried my camera with the intent to be lucky to find the beautiful Super Moon and meet her between the hills. I had the wish to find a clear sky without clouds and be able to get a good shot of this memorable moment! November 2016 Supermoon is supposed to be the closest, brightest and the largest since 1948. It is indeed a moment to capture!
I took several shots but this one is the one I love the most and I want to share it with you. Today here in California we had a beautiful evening the temperature was pleasant and the sky was super clear, no clouds, just beautiful! And here it is, the gorgeous moon dominating the sky in her brightest beauty!
Have a wonderful night or day! ❤
Enjoy the Supermoon!
